Photoshopped

Was able use my sister's laptop last night and I was able to practice my Adobe Photoshop "skills" again. It's been quite a while since I tweaked some pics there. Here's what I came up with:

I don't even know what I call them; postcards? The left one is me in Blue "Lagoon" beach during our Pagudpud vacation, and the one on the right is from  our Vigan sidetrip. I used opacity levels, shadows, and stroke efffects for the inset pictures.

Anyways, just browsing the afternoon away. I found this on Wikipedia by the way:

…and I learned a new word: Pet Peeve. I hear quite a lot, but it's only now that I can confidently use it. Hehe. 

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! As of this writing, it's exactly 9 days to go 'til Christmas day.

Im here at home using my sister's iBook G4 laptop. She's here to stay for Christmas, so is my Mom who just flew in this afternoon from Macau. 

It's been a while since I last posted an entry again, though I did post quite lot of pictures at my gallery; "If you can't find the words, then say it through pictures" so they say.

Dumaguete Memories

Sodium Chloride: I took this from our Chemistry class in Silliman University during my first and only year there. It shows some chemicals we were to use. Peeking in the blurry background is Ingrid, my bestfriend. I guess this is one of those I can call artsy photos. 

Bloom: This is one of the many fishponds in the Silliman University campus. I love this one, another artsy photo. It was taken around the same time I took Sodium Chloride.

Anniversary

We just had our advanced anniversary celebration yesterday at Gilligans in Glorietta.

It will be our batch's 1st-year anniversay from West Contact Services this coming Nov. 28, our "hired" date. Hindi lahat umattend, marami din ang wala including the trainors. Pero masaya naman. May melodrama moment pa yung isa sa amin and her boyfriend who tagged-along. Oh diba?

I think it will also be the last bonding time I can attend to with my officemates. I just resigned las Nov.20. Di na kasi talaga kaya pagsabayin with my school sched.

I had loads of fun naman. Madaming natutunan. About the corporate rat race, the work environment, the american language, etc. etc.

I'm at school now. Kakatapos ko lang ng essay about Health Economics and its effects in our day-to-day life. La pa namang class so spending some time on the net muna and giving a quick update.

Sana lang yung mga readers ko jan magparamdam naman. Kahit maliit na hi-hello lang sa chat-box ok na, malaman ko lang na nandiyan kayo para ma-inspire naman ako magsulat ng mag-sulat dito. Hindi yung basa lang kayo ng basa.

I’m back!

Hello bloggers and avid readers(if I even have one)!

I'm back from my Northern Luzon trip with my Mom, Sisters, and Brother.

We spent 3 nights in Pagudpud, an afternoon in Vigan and 1 night in Laoag for the whole of Saturday, Nov. 11 til today Wednesday, Nov. 15. So obviously absent ako sa school ng apat na araw, nag-give-out ako ng 8-hour shift from work, at nag-leave rin for one day. Kararating lang namin kaninang hapon through Cebu Pacific.

Fine!

Since wala pa naman akong class, sige na nga… update nalang muna ako. Uhm, di na ata ako marunong magsulat, hehe. I'll make some bullets nalang para madali.

• Just enrolled last Monday Nov. 6. I'm a regular student na rin.
• Have to resign from work, di na kasi ma-accomodate ng sched ko from school. According to my team leader, medyo mahabang proseso daw yun. Goodluck!
• WE'RE GOING TO PAGUDPOD!!! AND VIGAN!!! ahehe. This Saturday until Wednesday… so obviously absent ako sa school. Very excited. My mom will arrive tonight from Macau and we'll leave for Laoag tomorrow. Erpleyn kami eh I'll make sure I post pics here. I'm gonna be using my sister's old Nikon SLR on film.
• I joined Trinity Observer, our schools student paper, as a staffwriter. Very excited for that rin.
