There comes a moment when it's more than just a game, and you either take that step forward or turn around and walk away. I could quit but here's the thing, I love the playing field.

Its friday…

Friday, January 20, 2006

…and its payday again. Hmmm.

Anyways, im hungry, im sleepy, and I added a new video to the Music Bidyo section. It's "Why don't you and I?" by Santana with Alex Band of The Calling. Uhm, wala lang. Im kinda into this song this past few days. I saw the album Shaman kasi sa shelf dun sa kwarto ko. It wasnt Alex Band pala in the album, it was some Chad Kroeger guy ang nag-compose at kumanta originally. Ayun, la lang, trivia lang.

Tapos pupunta ako kina Ingrid for lunch. Ahmmm… Heto pala ang mga dapat kong ma-accomplish this year. It's not my new year's resolutions ha, more like a "to-do list" for the whole year. Hehe.

  1. Work my ass of for my own digicam. Dapat atleast 3 megapixel. Maybe i can ask my sister to buy it through her credit card para hulugan ko sa kanya… oh diba?
  2. Start a photo journal through my new digicam.
  3. Slightly work my ass off for an mp3 player. Yung mga tig 2-3thou lang. I dont really need an iPod anyway.
  4. Make up my mind on what course to take by June. Arggghhh. Anu ba talaga??? Medtech? Secondary Educ.? Bio parin? Heeelllllppppppppp!!!!
  5. Go to a college/university na maganda yung program nila ng napili kong course. And stay there!
  6. …to be continued.

Friday the 13th…

Friday, January 13, 2006

Was'nt there a scary tv show before under the name "Friday the 13th"? Hmmm. Or is that just one of the things that exist only in my subconscious which I feel also exists in the real world… Hmmm.

Anyway, yeah, today is Friday the 13th and its one of the things which I tend to like just because everybody hates it for no apparent reason. I can say that because I believe superstition alone can't be used as a justifiable reason to discrimate one thing and call it bad luck… diba?

Napakaraming superstitious beliefs tayong mga tao and Im beginning to feel that people from generations before just came up with it para magkaroon ng "explenation" kuno as to why bad things happen. And some people will argue na its just a precaution… Precaution??? Eh hindi ba precaution should be done 24/7???

To all earthlings: Shit happens, okay??? If life seems too harsh on you, thats no reason for you to blame it on the things na nananahimik… gaya ng favorite kong Friday the 13th!!! Eh ang birthday ko 13th eh, and masaya pag Friday. Superstitious beliefs won't stop me from hoping na sana tumapat yung birthday ko sa Friday (which apparently this year eh hindi parin… awww).

Besides, theres a time for everything. Haha.

Peace!

The end of kilala nyo na…

Monday, January 9, 2006

It seems Im fighting a losing battle kasi eh. Eh im over with that. Kung ayaw edi wag! Im done with throwing myself to someone samantalang di naman pala ako sasaluhin.

Arrgggh.

Pero all is well, what doesn kill me only makes me stronger. Bleh!

Refreshingly blue…

Friday, January 6, 2006

Changed my blog’s lay-out. Got a little tired with the green leaves and that tiny ant. Hehe. My blog title, Gamay, is the visayan term for "small". That’s my nickname, and showing a small ant in my blog kinda creates the impression that Im just a small ant.

Well, its true naman. Were all just tiny, little ants scurrying around in a big, crazy world. Pero now I want to change the impression Im giving out. I still believe in that view though, but this time, as a new year blossoms out, I want to give a fresh view in life and in my writings. So now I chose a wave. An ocean wave.

I remember the movie I watched a few days ago. Y Tu Mama Tambien. The line above comes from that movie. And its so true.

Just like the waves, continuosly flowing, a new year will come. After another, and after another. Washing out the previous one to give way for something bigger, brighter, and stronger.

Peace Out!

Still here…

Thursday, January 5, 2006

Ok, here comes the habit again. The posts are coming in very seldomly. Haha. But no, Im not lagging on my writing. At least I think I am writing again. I have two drafts on this blog, of which you cant see, ofcourse. Yet. I wrote them for the zine my bestfriend and some other friends are coming up with. So hopefully we get to have that out and everyone can see what we have as our writing skills. Chak!

Anyways, I dont think I can give a big update on what my life has been since my last post. When was that, anyway? But what I can say is that I liked christmas. I had work on the 24th but I was able to make it home before the clock struck 12. The usual kick-ass cooking my mom does were there. I just love the pasta… yum. When christmas day came, I was actually more eager to dig in under the tree and give the gifts I had for everyone. It was the first time I had gifts for them. Syempre sumusweldo na ‘no. Haha. So there, and then the gifts for me came in. In the words of Ron Weasley; "Good haul this year." Hehe.

So we tackled christmas, now lets go to the New Year. Hmmm, what happened that day? I forgot.

Oh yeah, right. I was here at the office. Sleeping in the rest area. 2-10pm was my regular shift on saturday, Dec. 31. I asked for additional hours on Sunday, Jan. 01 at 12:30-2am and 6am-10am. And again 2-10pm regular shift on Sunday as well. So in short, I spent the first few hours of 2006 sleeping and working. Hmmm. What would that mean?

Its weird, I still have money left. Biruin mo. I bought gifts for 7 people in the family and 2 people I consider family (well 1 person I consider family and yung isa is si kilala nyo na, hehe). Not to mention the spending I did when me and my 2 kiddie cousins went to watch Mulawin: the movie. Of course it was my mom who paid for the tickets but it was me who paid for the games at Timezone while waiting for the movie to start. Nabutas ang wallet ko ha! But still, I have some money left. Weird. And 1 more day to go, and I will be able to officially save the P300 I still have in my ATM for 2 weeks. Haha. Sana magtuloy-tuloy ang ganito.

Anyways, last night before work, I saw "Y Tu Mama Tambien" with Ingrid at her boarding house. Great movie. It had a lot of sex, hmmm, what do I have to say about that. Well, all I can say is that I liked it. The movie, ok!? And not the fact that it had lots of sex. Hehe. Ayun. And to end my 1st entry for 2006, a quote from the movie. I hope I got it accurately, though… Happy New Year fellow earthlings!

"Life is a shore, so let yourself be drifted away by the waves." Awwww.
